Huge amounts of information are accumulating in the World Wide Web
and indexing systems help us find it - but we need a way to regularize
the capture and preservation of this content along with its meta data.
There are some new initiatives that will help facilitate solutions - in
particular a new inter-cloud data transfer capability. This talk explores
the implications of standards for this purpose and speculates about
unsolved problems still to be addressed.
