The early 21st Century will bring a unique set of new challenges. Refugees. Water wars. Mass migration caused by the ravages of climate change. For example, the UN expects 200 million climate refugees by 2050. Today, the European Union is struggling with the headwind created by 1.5 million refugees.  How will any institution survive 10, 20, 50 million more?

If this is the new context, how can the Internet respond?  As creators of decentralized technologies, what small moves smartly made by you today can create different outcomes in the future?  This session, led by global strategist and futurist, Daniel Erasmus, will not provide solutions, but rather, will discuss the  context the Decentralized Web must exist within. Together we'll explore a set of goals, challenges, and engage in dialogue on how to respond to them.
